The fantastic and fabulous Sneaker Con Los Angeles is being held in Los Angeles (Anaheim) on May 21 – 22 2022. There will be tons of vendors and potentially huge deals. This event will have over 20,000 people attending and potentially 1000 vendors. Sneaker Con has grown substantially year over year and this show is sure to be the biggest in history. The sweet thing this year will be that Bored Ape Yacht Club is sponsoring the event and may do a drop or give away nice merch. If you have an Ape, Mutant or Dog, there may be an airdrop around the event, though don’t get your hopes up.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club is only a year old yet has went on a stratospheric growth path achieving hundreds of thousands of dollars for the original pics. Yuga Labs the developers of the NFT collection also dropped Bored Mutant Ape Yacht Club and Bored Kennel Yacht Club to holders which are now worth over $50,000 and $20,000 dollars respectfully.
Around the time of this show Hypebeast.com will be going live on the NASDAQ stock exchange. Hypebeast has been on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for 6 years and now is going live in the United States. This development is sure to boom the stock price and a new wave of culture will come to the West. East meets West, hopefully a meeting on the minds. A cool development is that some heavy hitters will be in the stock from day one. A few being Kevin Durant, the ex CEO of the New York Stock Exchange and Tom Brady, the GOAT. Hypebeast will be under ticker symbol HYPE.
